Collecting relevant data from our donors and volunteers helps us to be more efficient and send you relevant information. If you consented to becoming a PoTS UK member we will use your email address to send you news and information about research, patient meetings, fundraising projects and other issues we consider may be of interest to you. We will communicate with you about our work, including how we are spending your money and how you can continue to support us.
We pride ourselves on our ethical approach to fundraising. PoTS UK has never and will never knock on your door, stop you in the street or ring you to ask for donations. We will never release your information to organisations outside of PoTS UK for their marketing purposes.

Information about you will only be shared with PoTS UK employees and volunteers. We take all reasonable care to safeguard your personal information through security policies, encrypted computer equipment and secure business processes.
When you have indicated to us that you would like your question, experience or story shared with others, we will publish this on our website or social media platforms.
We will only pass your details on to others without your consent in exceptional circumstances when it is thought that there is likely to be significant self harm or harm to others.
PoTS can be a long-term condition for some people. We will store your details so that we can update you about PoTS issues of interest to you until you tell us that you would no longer like to receive this information.

Confidentiality will always be respected when you share sensitive information about you or a family member or friend with us. We will only share that information with PoTS UK volunteer advisors that may be able to help you.
