Rachel

I’d like to share that I’m so proud of what my daughter, Rachel from North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, has achieved.

23 year old Rachel was diagnosed by her GP as having PoTS during the COVID pandemic. This has undoubtedly had an effect on Rachel’s day-to-day life and only this month, her GP has had to triple her medication.

Despite all this, Rachel remains positive and has shown great courage and determination by flying to Glasgow to complete her first ever 10K run!

As any father would be, I’m hugely proud of Rachel’s positive approach to living with, and managing, her condition and I’ve shared this in the hope that it might provide other sufferers with a little encouragement.
