Autonomic Dysfunction: Diagnosis and Management
On Friday 19th April we held an educational training event for nurses and healthcare professionals who were interested in learning more about Autonomic Dysfunction including diagnosis, management and treatment.
Nearly 300 people registered for the event both in person and online, to listen to sessions led by PoTS experts Mell Ferrar, Nicki Williams, Dr Sam Waterman, Helen Eftekhari and Timothy Lloyd. Throughout the afternoon they presented on Orthostatic Intolerance symptoms, setting up and delivering a Syncope Service, managing the psychological impact of living with a chronic illness, updates on research and exercise in Long Covid and Autonomic Dysfunction.
